Jason Mitchell

Jason was born and raised down south. He grew up in Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina and Kentucky. Which explains his lifelong struggle to pronounce vowels like the rest of America. He graduated from Toccoa Falls College (Georgia) in 2001 with a degree in Youth Ministries. In 2007, he completed his Masters of Divinity from Biblical Theological Seminary. Jason has worked with students at LCBC since May of 2002.

He believes deeply that students aren’t the church of the future but are the church of today. He is committed to seeing them live out the life God has called them live as students. During his free time, you’ll find Jason taking walks with his family, sucking down some coffee, keeping his blog current (http://clearlyvague.blogspot.com/), getting a quick run in, watching the University of Alabama beat other teams in football, and reading, reading, reading.

Jason lives in Manheim with his wife Jenny and their two children, Sienna and Silas.
