John Wilkinson

High School Pastor

John and his wife, Nikki, both grew up in Pennsylvania from opposite ends of the state.  They have resolved their Steelers (Nikki) and Eagles (John) issues . . . Somewhat.  John completed his undergraduate studies at Penn State University, then went on to earn a Master of Divinity degree from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary and completed a doctorate in Youth and Family Ministry at Fuller Theological Seminary.

John believes that high school students should be integrated into the center of the church.   At LCBC he is developing a culture of ministry that fosters meaningful connections between teens and adults and engages senior high students into the adult church community.

John is passionate about helping skeptics get their questions answered.  He has written a book called “No Argument for God” that seeks to answer questions that skeptics may have.

John enjoys playing guitar, frequent trips to Ocean City, NJ and anything outdoors.  John and his wife are busy raising three great kids: Tyler, Aedan and Kylie.
