Matt Goss
Manheim Campus Worship LeaderBorn in Lewisburg and raised in Jonestown and Lancaster, Matt grew up in a very musical family and started ministering through music at a young age. They toured as "The Goss Family" and often sang and performed in churches across Pennsylvania. On his own, Matt played at school dances, coffee houses, and youth groups throughout high school and college. A big kid at heart with a dry humor, and a constant ability to make people laugh, Matt’s quick wit is the source of lots of laughs around the office and in practices. Matt earned his two-year music certificate from Berklee College of Music in Boston. He has served as LCBC’s Worship Leader since May of 1999. Matt shares that his philosophy of ministry is "to prepare the way for the Holy Spirit to open hearts and minds to genuine worship through the arts." He is an accomplished vocalist, pianist, guitarist, bassist, drummer, tubist, composer, arranger, choir director and of course: worship leader. August to January you’re likely to find Matt talking Eagles football and coaching from his armchair. His other passions include motorcycles, pretzel dogs & Longjohns. Matt and his wife Kim have been married since 1996 and live in Marietta with their 4 children: Isabella, Caleb, Lilah and Adeline.
