AFP advanced food products llc the leading copack manufacturer of aseptically packed cheese sauce, puddings and beverages in North America is in search of a person to fill the position of Demand Planner with responsibility for all AFP North American locations. This position is located at our corporate office in New Holland, PA. AFP offers superior quality, outstanding customer service and creative product development that only a true innovator can deliver. The Demand Planner is a highly visible supply chain role that will oversee the organization’s demand planning functions. This is a hands-on position responsible for developing and executing a demand plan and inventory plans that will enable AFP to meet sales and service objectives. Responsibilities: Understand & direct SAP production planning software setups with regard to demand planning Conduct current and future forecasting analysis Continuously improve demand planning techniques, methods, and approaches Maintain documentation and standard operating procedures for demand planning processes Adapt demand planning to support sales forecasts Recommended adjustments to forecast/inventory targets based on input changes Manage inventory targets (including safety stock levels) that are approved by management Prepare, report, and communicate forecast/inventory measurements to management Qualifications: Background in master scheduling, forecasting, procurement and planning Minimum 3 years experience using SAP platform Knowledge of demand planning process within Consumer Packaged Goods Industry; Food Manufacturing experience with multiple plants is preferred 4 year degree (Business or related field) or equivalent experience We offer an attractive compensation and benefit package, including immediate enrollment into the medical/dental benefits and 401k retirement program on your first day of employment.
