Director of Programs
Jessica and Friends Community
Director of Programs is responsible for developing high quality programs for individuals with developmental disabilities and the coordination and delivery of services to the individuals served through Jessica and Friends Community. This position also is responsible for ensuring organizational compliance with applicable governmental regulations and reports to the Executive Director. Responsibilities include developing, coordinating and implementing effective program activities for the individuals served, support of staff recruitment and training and building relationships with MH-MR and other providers. This position is a full-time/salaried position with mainly daytime hours; however the need to meet with staff, individuals and families requires flexibility. The successful candidate will have one of the following groups of qualifications: • Master’s degree and one year experience working directly with persons with developmental disabilities, • Bachelor’s degree and two years experience working directly with persons with developmental disabilities, or • Associate’s degree and four years experience working directly with persons with developmental disabilities. Strong verbal and written communication skills are needed for this position and knowledge of the 6400 and 2380 regulations is required. Local and regional travel required.
