Rich Murphy
kidMINISTRY Pastor
Rich has a BA from the University of Central Florida and a MA from Regent University located in Virginia, both in Communication. The focus of his career has been communicating the truth of God’s Word to kids in a relevant way that makes church fun and knowing God real. He believes that working in kidMINISTRY helps keep him closer to his own kids and he enjoys learning about God with them.
As a kid, he loved to pretend to play “Planet of the Apes” and always wanted the chance to go sledding. Growing up in the South he didn’t get that chance so he’s thrilled to be able to embrace a blizzard and take the girls to the nearest hill. He is a home theater NUT and totally enjoys a great story that teaches him something about history.
He is married to Lisa and has two daughters: Shannon and Kassidy.
