Inside Out - Amazing Love Stories

In this edition of the LIFELine we were going to include the 60+ letters and cards that we have received from people that were blessed by you, but as we talked about it we realized the vision of Inside Out is more about you moving out into your community than the need that was met. Often we are more blessed in giving than those who are receiving. We have included some of your feedback from Inside Out and we would encourage you to not stop here. As a group look at the needs that are in your community and go and love people in your community!

…After raking leaves we went to Starbucks.  There was a company there that was paying for everyone's bills for 30 minutes.  We thought it was cool that we had just done something for someone else and than received a blessing/gift from total strangers…

…She said she never gets company anymore, and loved telling stories as much as we enjoyed hearing them.  She also mentioned that she still shovels her own snow, so one of the members of our group who lives near by is hoping to surprise her by showing up with a shovel next time it snows.  What a great day we all had, thanks again…

…We are a relatively new LIFE Group.  We have been meeting weekly since the last link.  This has just been a great way for us to continue to bond with one another.  The elderly woman whom we helped cried as she thanked us and said that she felt so blessed to be helped today.  Jenn and I told her that we are the ones who felt blessed that we could help.  It certainly was an honor and privilege to serve our God today…

…This activity always draws us together a little closer…

…The lady that we had was amazing.  When I met to assess the job we ended up sitting and talking for 2 hours!  Yes she needed yard work done, but so much more than that she needed love and acceptance.  I fell in love with her there…

…An opportunity to help others like this helped us realize that we can make a difference in our own community and there are many people that are in need…

…it was just so rewarding to know we really, truly helped someone in need, and we give God the glory for this.  The family we helped this year asked us for information on LCBC, which we are taking to them after the service this evening.  They appear to be searching for a church and it is our group's prayer for this family that they find and develop a relationship with Jesus Christ.  God is so GOOD.  He orchestrated this whole situation, this whole day, this whole experience. He opens doors that we, as His servants need to walk through…
