As the days get warmer, you might be feeling inspired to shake up your routine – get outside more, spend time with other people, and find new ways to be refreshed and shed the winter blues. Now is the perfect time to connect in a Group at LCBC! Getting together with others in a Group allows you to explore hobbies, connect over shared interests and life stages, and dive deeper in your faith.

Groups for Activities

Self-Defense Fundamentals

On-site at West Shore (Tuesdays at 6:30pm starting April 25)

Although God is our only true source of protection, we hope to teach you some skills to defend yourself or others if the need arises. In this group we’ll do a devotional, talk about situational awareness/conflict avoidance, and train on some striking/grappling skills.

Hiking Group

Happening off-site in the Harleysville area

Enjoy being outdoors in nature. Join this group to take walks/hikes on local trails while discussing the messages from LCBC’s weekend gatherings. Locations will vary and exact dates will depend on the weather and will be sent out in advance.

Groups for Gamers

Happening online

Connect with other gamers and build community around our common interests. We will have weekly discussion questions to get to know each other and grow in our relationship with Jesus, and of course game together!

Knitting and Crocheting Group

Happening off-site in the Ephrata area (every other Tuesday at 6pm starting May 2) 

We will meet to knit and crochet items such as hats, mittens, socks, hats, blankets, etc. for donation to local organizations. We will build community and further our walk with Jesus while supporting our local community. The group will meet the first and third Tuesday of the month at 6 pm and children are welcome.

Ride n Share

Happening off-site in the Berks area

Biking is great for your physical health. Sharing life with fellow Jesus followers is great for your spiritual health. Each week we ride with the intent to share life with each other. Our paces may be different just as life stages are different, but if we are willing to slow down, or maybe speed up for a bit we may find great connections.

Men’s Disc Golfing Group

Happening off-site in the Lebanon area

Come hang out and join on us Thursday evenings, playing Disc Golf! The goal is to relax, meet other men, and build lasting relationships in our church.

Coffee, Christ, and Community

Happening off-site in the Lancaster City area

Do you enjoy community and a good cup of coffee? If that's you, then come join us as we dive into a powerful read, "The Everlasting Truth Of Salvation," based on chapter 8 of the book of Romans. We plan to meet Thursday evenings from 6 to 8pm at a local coffee shop. Any materials necessary and the location will be communicated with you via a group leader. We hope to see you there!

Young Adults Group

Happening off-site in the Hazleton and Wilkes-Barre area

Join our group of 18-29 year olds from both the Hazleton and Wilkes-Barre campuses that meet to hang, connect, and have lots of fun! We meet at a recreation center in Mountain Top with optional soccer afterward. Come join!

Wiggles and Worship

On-site at Harrisburg (Thursdays at 10am now through May 25)

Finding fun things to do WITH your little ones can be so tricky sometimes. Join us on Thursday mornings from 10am-11am as we sing and dance to some of our favorite KidVenture Island worship songs! We will also do a story, learn a memory verse each month and learn about Jesus love for us! For those with children ages 2-5.

Intentional Parenting 

On-site at Ephrata (Tuesdays at 6:30pm beginning May 2)

Your kids already know you aren’t perfect but what they may not know is what they are supposed to do when they mess up. They need you to model it. Join us for this 4-week group as we discover how to move from Quick Fix Parenting to Intentional Parenting. You are the greatest influence on your child no matter what age they are. Let’s walk this intentional journey together.

On-site at Clarks Summit (Mondays at 10am beginning May 1)

Join us on Monday mornings, starting May 1st, for a time to get out some wiggles and connect with others, as we walk, pray and ride bikes around our campus!

Lancaster County Food Hub 

Off-site in the Lancaster City area on the 4th Wednesday of the month

Lancaster County Food Hub is committed to helping our neighbors thrive through sharing the resources they need most like food, clothing, & shelter. Let your love be easy to see by stepping into our neighborhood and serving as a group the 4th Wednesday of every month with one of our valued partners in the Lancaster community.

Serve Saturdays 

Off-site in the West Shore area

This group is your chance to be the church outside the walls of our building! One Saturday a month we'll "get out" and serve with one of LCBC West Shore's Community Partners. You do NOT have to participate in all dates to join! When you sign up, a group leader will connect with you about which dates you're able to serve. Volunteer duties are varied based on need and ability. Minimum age is 13.

Serving at the Midwest Food Bank 

Off-site in the Harrisburg area

Join us on the 2nd Wednesday of each month from 5:30-7:30pm to serve at our local food bank where we re-package bulk food and re-sort canned and box food for agency distribution and some light cleaning.
