As the days get warmer, you might be feeling inspired to shake up your routine – get outside more, spend time with other people, and find new ways to be refreshed and shed the winter blues. Now is the perfect time to connect in a Group at LCBC! Getting together with others in a Group allows you to explore hobbies, connect over shared interests and life stages, and dive deeper in your faith.
If you’re not sure where to start, check out 14 interesting Groups happening soon at LCBC and find something to look forward to this Spring!
Groups for Activities
On-site at West Shore (Tuesdays at 6:30pm starting April 25)
Although God is our only true source of protection, we hope to teach you some skills to defend yourself or others if the need arises. In this group we’ll do a devotional, talk about situational awareness/conflict avoidance, and train on some striking/grappling skills.
Happening off-site in the Harleysville area
Enjoy being outdoors in nature. Join this group to take walks/hikes on local trails while discussing the messages from LCBC’s weekend gatherings. Locations will vary and exact dates will depend on the weather and will be sent out in advance.

Knitting and Crocheting Group
Happening off-site in the Ephrata area (every other Tuesday at 6pm starting May 2)
We will meet to knit and crochet items such as hats, mittens, socks, hats, blankets, etc. for donation to local organizations. We will build community and further our walk with Jesus while supporting our local community. The group will meet the first and third Tuesday of the month at 6 pm and children are welcome.
Ride n Share
Happening off-site in the Berks area
Biking is great for your physical health. Sharing life with fellow Jesus followers is great for your spiritual health. Each week we ride with the intent to share life with each other. Our paces may be different just as life stages are different, but if we are willing to slow down, or maybe speed up for a bit we may find great connections.
