Greater Things is a two-year spiritual growth journey in generosity, focused on moving every person at our church toward greater open-handed, sacrificial giving and unleashing the financial resources needed to fuel the next season of mission advancement.

We believe God is calling our church to Greater Things — and it starts with us. We want each of us to courageously ask, “God, what do you want to do in me and through me?”

As we live more surrendered and more dependent on him, our faith deepens and our impact multiplies. The greater things he does in us will shape the greater things he does through us.

Our Story

In 1986, about 40 people began to meet in the garage of Don and Joyce Hershey to pray for their son, who had recently been in an accident. As they kept meeting, more people joined and God planted a vision to start a church for people who’d given up on church. A church for people who needed hope in Christ. Through every season, God has been faithful, and as we step into what’s next, we’re ready for the greater things he wants to do in us and through us, all to reach just one more.

We dream of a day when everyone in our state is within 20 minutes of a Jesus-centered, outward-focused church. We're asking God for greater reach — through new and growing campuses, a serious push into Western PA, and strengthening churches across the state through The Advantage — because we believe lost people matter to God, and we'll do anything and everything we can to reach just one more.

We are seeing spiritual momentum in fresh ways—families being strengthened, addictions broken, freedom experienced. Greater Impact is about fueling that momentum so more and more lives are changed by Christ.

The greatest investment we can make is in people. Greater Hope is about raising up the next generation of leaders, equipping followers of Jesus to make a Kingdom difference wherever they've been placed, and building the infrastructure to resource, grow, and sustain everything God has for us in the decades ahead.
