We've rounded up 10 springtime activities for kids of all ages! Check them out:

10 fun spring activities for kids

1. Picnic in the Park

Grab a blanket, pack some sandwiches, and head to your local park. Enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by the sounds and colors of spring. Don't forget to bring a frisbee or a kite for extra outdoor fun!

2. Nature Scavenger Hunt

Turn a simple walk into an exciting adventure by setting out on a nature scavenger hunt. Make a list of items like blooming flowers, chirping birds, or unique rocks, and let your explorers check them off as they discover each one!

3. Plant Flowers

Get your hands dirty and involve the kids in planting some colorful flowers in your backyard or in pots on the porch. Teach them about the growth cycle and watch their faces light up as they watch their efforts transform into a beautiful display.

4. Spring Arts and Crafts

Unleash your creativity with some spring-themed arts and crafts! From making paper flowers to crafting butterfly wings, there are endless possibilities to keep your kids’ hands busy and their imaginations soaring.

5. Adventure on Wheels

Dust off those bicycles (or roller skates!) and hit the local bike trails. Enjoy pedaling past scenic routes, exploring the beauty of your town in the springtime. If biking isn’t your thing or your kid is too little to bike, taking a walk or bringing the stroller is a great option, too!

6. Bonfire Cookout

Grab some hot dogs and s'mores and cook up dinner outside over a crackling fire! Make it extra fun by busting out glow sticks or sparklers after the sun goes down.

7. Storytime in the Garden

Find a sunny spot in your backyard or a nearby park, spread out a blanket, and enjoy storytime al fresco! Pick out some spring-themed books from your local library and create an immersive experience for your kids.

8. Bubble Bonanza

There's something magical about bubbles! Grab some bubble wands, head to a grassy area, and let the kids chase and pop bubbles to their heart's content.

9. DIY Ice Cream Social

Let your kids choose their favorite toppings and create personalized sundaes. You can even try out this recipe for homemade ice cream – no special machine necessary!
