With warmer weather and longer days, Spring is a great time of year to connect with others in the great outdoors! Here are 13 Groups kicking off this spring that will help you meet people who are into the same activities as you: hiking, biking, kayaking, and more! 

13 Groups to get you outside this Spring 

Outdoor Recreation Group | Manheim 

Do you love being outside and exploring all the beauty God has to offer in nature? This group exists to enjoy time together in the great outdoors. Activities include hiking, biking, kayaking/canoeing, camping etc. Here is your chance to connect with others from each LCBC campus each month to simply enjoy God’s creation. 

Hiking, Kayaking, and Biking Meet-Up | York 

Join other outdoor enthusiasts who share a passion for hiking, kayaking, and biking! Hit the trails, rivers, and more in the York area and connect with others over a shared hobby. 

Golf Group | Harrisburg 

Whether you’re an experienced golfer or just learning how to play, this group is for you! Enjoy a round of golf in a fun, no-pressure atmosphere and stick around to grab a meal together afterward.  

Bicycling Group | Manheim 

Experienced road cyclists are invited to join a weekly group ride exploring the region surrounding LCBC Manheim. Course selection varies from week to week and will range from 25-30 miles, with climbing of 1,500-1,800 feet, at an average pace of 15-16mph.  

Weekend Hiking Group | Harleysville 

This group is a double whammy! Not only will you get to spend time in the outdoors, you’ll discuss the weekend message with your hiking group while hitting the local trails. 

Outdoor Adventure Group | Hazleton 

If you love everything outdoors, join the Outdoor Adventure Group! The Group will meet once a month to hike, camp, and more – all while connecting with each other. Activities will range from beginner-friendly to more moderate intensity. 

Soul Striders | Hanover 

Build relationships that are good for the soul while walking the Hanover Trolley Trail at Moul Field. The trail is flat, and the walking distance is 1-2 miles; we will adjust based on fitness level. 

Fathers and Sons Adventure Group | Harleysville 

This group is an outdoor adventure-oriented experience for fathers/male caregivers and sons (ages kindergarten through Grade 5). Together you’ll experience hands on activities, skill development, and conversations about Christ-centered leadership and character development.  

Harrisburg Motorcycle Riders | Harrisburg 

Motorcycle enthusiasts and riders, join this Group for a ride on the first and third Sunday of each month. The Group will meet at the LCBC Harrisburg parking lot and spend some time getting to know each other before the ride. 

Retired & Hunting | Ephrata 

If you’re retired and looking for more opportunities to do the outdoor activities you love most, check out this Group! You’ll meet up with other men in the same season of life who also love hunting and fishing. 

Women’s Walk and Pray Group | Columbia-Montour 

Join up with other women from the Bloomsburg area to walk local parks and spend time praying together.
