Now that your schedule has settled down from the hectic holidays, you might be looking around wondering, “what now?” Winter is a great time to find your people and get connected, and we’ve got over 30 Groups kicking off at LCBC.  

There’s something for everyone – check out our winter Groups below! 

Activity-based Groups 

A shared pastime is a great way to make connections. After all, you’ve already got something in common! At these Groups, you’ll participate in an activity together as you engage in conversations and build relationships: 

Board Game Night | Dickson City 

hang out, play board games, and connect with others in a relaxed environment. Games range from family-friendly games like Sorry and Life to more involved games such as Settlers of Catan and Ticket to Ride. Feel free to bring your own favorite game!

Cornhole isn’t just for outdoor barbecues! Plus, you may find a new friend in your cornhole partner. Get your throwing arm ready and join the fun!

Guitar Group | Ephrata 

Whether you’re new to guitar or you’ve been shredding for decades, all guitar players age 18 and up are welcome. Each get-together, you’ll discuss the message-based questions from the weekend and make some music!

Fathers & Sons Adventure Group | Harleysville 

This is an outdoor adventure-oriented experience for fathers and sons (Kindergarten-Grade 5), and men who serve as a father figure and the boys they serve. You’ll enjoy hands-on activities, skill development, and conversation about Christ-centered leadership and character development.

50+ crowd, this group is for you! Get together once a month to have fun and bond with fellow LCBC Lebanon attendees in the same season of life.

Pathfinders Hiking Group | Manheim 

This is a group for people who want to connect with others on a fast-paced hike on varied terrain. Prior hiking experience is helpful but not required, and hikes will take place on the 3rd weekend of the month with exact date, time, location, and intensity communicated ahead of time.

Global Movie Group | Online 

We’ve found the coziest way to connect! Hop on a Zoom call and watch a movie with virtual friends who share an interest in global issues. Watch movies like "Sound of Freedom," "Could You Live on a Dollar a Day?", "Peace by Chocolate," and "He Named Me Malala” and discuss how we can make a difference in the world.

Weekly Women’s Discussion Group – The Chosen Season 2 | West Schuylkill 

This group will meet weekly for 8 weeks to view Season 2 of the hit series “The Chosen” and discuss each episode using the Study Guide provided by the series creators.

Bible Study Groups that fit your life and schedule 

These online Groups are available whenever and wherever you are with the YouVersion Bible app! This is a free Bible app where users may create a daily routine of seeking intimacy with God. In these Groups, you’ll complete a Bible Reading Plan together and share your thoughts in a talk-it-over section that allows for group participation. These are online groups that you can interact with any day and time throughout the week!
