Read: Matthew 5:16

As we're sending our kids off to school, we're reminded of the power of light. This verse urges us to let God's love shine in school through our behaviors and actions. Our children will undoubtedly face challenges, yet their kindness has the potential to illuminate even the toughest moments, not only for themselves but for those around them as well.

Think of a cave filled with darkness—a single candle's light can make a difference for the one holding it and for everyone else in the cave. In the same way, our actions can be that candlelight revealing God’s kindness, empathy, and goodness.

Just as light drives away darkness, our actions can drive away negativity and doubt. When kids encounter peers who might be struggling in darkness, their light will stand out. People will notice the difference, and their actions will show Christ's love.

Encourage your children to embrace their role as light bearers. Remind them that their actions can reflect God's love, bringing light not only to themselves but also to those around them.
