At the end of chapter 9, there is still some hope for Egypt. Their livestock is dead along with their flax and barley, but they still have some wheat growing. Now the locusts eat the wheat too. Egypt will be without food until the next harvest. Darkness falls when Pharaoh says he never wants to see Moses again.
It鈥檚 hard to imagine Pharaoh being this stubborn. Hopefully you have not experienced it yourself, but you may have someone in your life who, no matter how bad things get, never changes his or her ways. Don鈥檛 give up. God isn鈥檛 done with them and you can keep encouraging and praying for that person to turn to God.
