David has the opportunity to kill Saul but does not take it. It would have been easy to justify killing Saul since God had already told David he would be king, but David leaves the timing of Saul鈥檚 death in God鈥檚 hands. It is hard to wait and can be tempting to move things forward with our own efforts, but God鈥檚 timing is best.
