Despite God鈥檚 patience, generations of disobedience eventually lead to defeat. The defeat even included the destruction of God鈥檚 Temple. Even in defeat, God continues to work because David鈥檚 line is not destroyed. We will find Jehoiachin in the family tree of Jesus in Matthew 1:12.
