When you’re facing big choices, it’s natural to wonder, “Does God even have a plan for me? How do I know if I’m making the right decisions?” These questions can weigh heavily and make you feel stuck—and like God isn’t actively involved in your life. But God isn’t distant or indifferent. He’s close, personally invested in your life. He has plans for your life—plans he wants to share with you!
Recognizing that God has a plan doesn’t necessarily erase uncertainty, but it gives a framework for trusting his guidance in the messiness of real life. It starts with listening for his voice, for his clarity and wisdom in the decisions we make and the choices we face. Even small steps toward seeking God’s guidance provide clarity and peace, even when we don’t fully know what his plans are.
Reflect: What doubts or fears are holding you back from trusting God’s plan?
Pray: God, I’m unsure of your plan, but I want to trust you. Show me the ways you are guiding me and give me courage to follow. Amen.
