It’s easy to feel like life is all on your shoulders—like your needs are too big for anyone to meet. Yet even in the most difficult circumstances, God shows up. Think about the times you’ve experienced provision you couldn’t have made happen on your own: a kind word, help from a friend, or a simple moment of peace. Those are glimpses of God’s care.

Paul knew what it meant to depend on God’s provision. Even while in prison, facing isolation and uncertainty, he held onto confidence that God would meet his needs. He had seen how God provides through people and circumstances, and more than anything, he knew that God’s presence was more than enough.

Today, take a breath. Slow down. Look around. Where has God already shown up for you? How has he come through—again and again?

Pray: God, thank you for always seeing me. Help me take off the blinders and notice the ways you’re providing. I don’t want to miss it. Teach me to trust you with both what I have and what I need. Amen.
