Church
There is separation that is right; it’s the separation people in the church should practice when it comes to doing evil. But Paul also points out that marriage should be an illustration of the relationship between Jesus and His church. Men are being called to the same level of love and self-sacrifice as Jesus showed us. The world has yet to see such a husband! Jesus gave Himself to purify us and husbands are called to give of themselves to make their households godlier. Jesus has given so much of Himself, it only makes sense the church would submit to His desires for us.
