It’s easy to live like integrity only matters when people are looking. We work hard at our jobs because our boss is watching. We’re kind to people who can post about us. We filter what we say because it might be recorded or shared.
But what about the moments no one else sees? When we’re alone with our phones. When no one would know if we padded our hours. When we could cut a corner and get away with it.
Jesus says that how we handle the small, hidden things matters. He’s not just testing you—he’s shaping you. Every honest decision you make in private builds something strong inside you. And over time, those hidden choices shape the kind of person you become in public. Where in your life do you need to choose integrity, even if no one else will ever know?
Pray: Lord, I want to be the same person in private that I am in public. Help me live with honesty, even when no one sees. Build in me a faithfulness that starts small and grows deep.
