Read:

We run out of energy when we try to do life on our own. Isaiah reminds us that God’s strength never runs out. Those who rely on him will find new energy to keep going, no matter how long the race is.

Waiting on God isn’t passive. It’s actively depending on him. It’s coming back to him each day, letting his truth guide your thoughts, and leaning on his Spirit to carry you through. Like a long-distance runner pacing themselves, we need rhythms of rest and refueling in his presence.

Pray: God, I often try to run my race in my own strength. Teach me how to rely on you and fill me with the strength I need today to keep going.
