Building on a Strong Foundation
As you've read through t鈥媓e Sermon on the Mount, you've probably noticed how many parables Jesus used. He ends his sermon with one about building our lives on the right foundation (Matthew 7:24-27). What's the right foundation? Jesus' teaching. (You know, like the sermon he just gave).
You have read through these words of Jesus several times. Don't merely check the box of reading these teachings of Jesus. Don't leave them in the rearview mirror. Ask God to help you to carry these words - the very words of our Savior Jesus - forward with you as you build your entire life around them.
What a privilege.
