Read: Psalm 8:3-4
Have you ever stood somewhere that made you feel small, like looking up at a sky
full of stars, watching waves stretch across a lake, or seeing mountains disappear
into the distance? Moments like that tend to quiet us, giving us perspective on how
small we are—and how vast God is.
Scripture tells us that the same God who placed the stars in the sky is also mindful
of you. Nothing in your life is too complex, too heavy, or too overwhelming for
him. When problems feel bigger than your capacity to handle them, creation offers
perspective: if God can hold the universe together, he can be trusted with what’s
weighing on your heart.
Awe has a way of restoring trust. It shifts our focus from the size of our worries to
the greatness of the God who carries them.
Practice: Take five minutes to notice something vast—a sunset, a wide stretch of
water, a tall tree, or the open sky. As you do, pray: “God, help me trust you with what
feels bigger than me today.” Allow the scale of creation to remind you of God’s
power and care.
