Families in our community are heading back to school, and you can help them start strong. As Burrowes and Ross Elementary gears up to welcome students this year, we have an opportunity to support the important work they do by pitching in to help stock their classrooms.
Here's what they're asking for: Pencil erasers, tissues, underwear (girls and boys, all sizes), Socks (all sizes), Training bras (all sizes), Girls Shirts (short sleeve all sizes), Pants (all sizes), erasers, lunch boxes, belts (girls and boys, smaller sizes), dry erase markers, glue sticks, scissors, Clorox disinfectant wipes, Expo dry erase markers, Crayola Crayons, Inexpensive headphones or earbuds, hand sanitizer, plastic pencil boxes, pencils, zipper pencil pouch, rules (with cm & inches), folders (with 3 prongs and 2 pockets), post-it notes, single subject spiral notebooks.
Grab one item or fill a whole bag! Every bit helps a kid walk into the first day ready to learn. Drop your donation in the atrium the first two weekends of August. We'll have a collection spot set up and get everything where it needs to go.
