Event Description
Join us for a hike to the Pinnacle, the highest point on the Appalachian Trail in Pennsylvania! The view from the top is one of the best around and well worth the climb. You don't need to be an experienced hiker—this is a moderate 7.8 mile hike with 880 feet of elevation gain, and we'll keep an easy pace and take breaks along the way.
We'll meet at LCBC West Schuylkill at 8am and carpool together to the trailhead, which is a little over an hour away. (Be sure to register so we can add you to the headcount!) The hike should take about 3.5 hours, and we plan to be back at the church no later than 3pm.
Come ready for a great day outside, some beautiful views, and time together on the trail!
