Safety is a major priority for us at High School Camp. We have taken several steps to ensure that your student is safe and taken care of.

  • Your student will be assigned to a small group with leaders who are background checked and cleared to serve in LCBC Student Ministry.
  • In the case of an emergency, your student’s leader or our staff will contact you via the information you provided during registration. If you are having a family emergency and need to reach us, you can contact LCBC Central Offices at (717) 928-2155 (after-hours answering service available.
  • We are bringing our own security and medical teams that will be present throughout the entire camp. We also have access to urgent care and hospitals within a short distance.
  • Please note that we cannot hold on to or dispense prescriptions. Students must keep their medications with them and take them as prescribed. A trained medical volunteer will be present at all times during High School Camp to assist with general medical needs and emergencies
Your student will be assigned to a room either with or near leaders who are background-checked and cleared to serve in LCBC Student Ministry. Your student’s room assignment was chosen based on several intentional reasons including location, group, age, etc. LCBC staff work hard to organize rooming in a manner that allows every student to have a great week. If you have a serious concern about your student’s rooming, please speak with your campus staff.
Each day students will participate in large group games and team color battles. Parents/guardians will receive an email with their student’s team color before camp. During free time, students can enjoy:
  • Millersville’s recreational facilities (pool, ropes course, etc.)
  • Board games, arts & crafts, and daily special activities like bingo

On the registration form, you can note food allergies or dietary needs. We do our best to accommodate all requests, but students should also be prepared to ask dining hall staff about ingredients when needed

What to Bring
  • 4 sets of clothes (include an outfit that can get messy/ruined!)
  • Modest Swimwear - we ask everyone to choose swimwear that is comfortable while maintaining modesty during active play. Many two-pieces suits meet the standards of modesty, but boys’ speedos and girls’ bikinis can miss the mark for the highly active nature of our events.
  • Sleeping bag and pillow
  • Toiletries (make sure to include sunscreen!)
  • Towel
  • Bible and pen
  • Spending money for the camp store & snack shop
  • Refillable Water Bottle
What NOT to Bring
  • NERF guns
  • Knives
  • Tobacco, alcohol, drugs, or vapes
  • Fireworks or weapons
  • Gaming systems or devices other than a phone (if permitted by parent/guardian)
We encourage students to unplug and fully engage at camp, so we discourage bringing cell phones. However, parents/guardians can decide. Phones may be used at appropriate times (photos, Bible reading, free time). If phones are misused, leaders may collect them and return them at the end of camp. Leaders will also help students learn to engage responsibly with their devices.
There are two separate forms involved: the scholarship application form and the camp registration form. After you apply and have a conversation with Student Ministry Staff, you will receive a code and link to complete your registration, follow the set-by-set process Here Please note: not every scholarship applicant will receive a scholarship. Scholarships are limited and awarded based on need and availability. In order to attend camp, all registrations must be completed one week before camp.
