Think about a time when someone made you feel especially seen and known when you were new. What specific actions or attitudes made the difference, and how can we intentionally offer that same experience to kids and parents as they arrive?

What parts of the check-in or arrival process might feel confusing or overwhelming to a new family? How can we support one another as a team to remain calm, warm, and helpful in those moments?

Why do you think getting on a child’s level—physically and emotionally—matters so much? How might these simple, relational moments help open the door for kids and families to take steps toward knowing and following Jesus?
