-Safety is the top priority at kidVenture Island as part of the mission to care for kids and families well.
-Diapers should be changed as needed, or at least once per Gathering, and only volunteers age 16 or older may change diapers.
-Use
kidVenture Island diapers and wipes unless a parent provides personal
items, and never leave a child unattended during a diaper change.
-After
changing a diaper, place a “Changed With Love” sticker on the front and
clean the changing area and wash hands before returning to the room.
-If
a child needs restroom assistance, 2 non-related adults must be
present, with one helping and the other maintaining visual supervision.
-When
taking children to a restroom outside the environment, 2 non-related
adults must go, while at least 2 adult leaders remain with the other
children.
