This ministry offers a meaningful opportunity to serve our neighbors by helping prepare and serve a meal at the Hanover Council of Churches. Volunteers gather once a month on the 4th Tuesday, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., to help feed those in our community who are experiencing hunger. Each month, six volunteers are needed to prepare the meal and assist with serving. Volunteers sign up only for the months they are available, making this a flexible and manageable commitment. If an unexpected conflict arises after signing up, volunteers are responsible for finding a replacement for their committed month. This group is a wonderful way to live out our call to serve with compassion, build community through teamwork, and make a tangible difference in the lives of others—one meal at a time.
