1 Kings 22 tells of Ahab鈥檚 death. His son Ahaziah follows him as king and as a follower of false gods. Elijah entrusts the spiritual leadership in Israel to Elisha.
Ahab passes his evil tendencies from father to son while Elijah passes his devotion to God from mentor to prot茅g茅. Although sometimes good leaders are followed by bad ones and vice versa, we should be doing all we can to set a positive example for future leaders.
