Read: Esther 4:10-16
Head
For much of the story, Esther doesn't understand why God placed her where he did. She simply finds herself in a position she never expected. But when the moment comes, she realizes her position isn't just about comfort—it's about purpose.
Mordecai's famous words challenge Esther: “Who knows if perhaps you were made queen for such a time as this?” The same question applies to us. Where we are isn't accidental. God can use our workplaces, schools, relationships, and opportunities as places where his kingdom advances.
Heart
Sometimes we imagine serving God requires a different life—a different job, different circumstances, or a different opportunity. But Esther reminds us that God often works through the places where he's already planted us.
Your influence may feel ordinary, but God sees purpose in it.
Where has God placed you that you may have been viewing as insignificant?
Hands
Identify one place where you have influence: your workplace, your school, your family, or your friendships.
Ask God how you can represent him there this week.
Pray: God, thank you that my life isn't accidental. Help me recognize the opportunities you've placed in front of me. Give me courage to use my influence for your purposes. Amen.
