Read: Isaiah 55:11
The Bible is God’s power and promises on display for us. God created the world
with his Word and by his Word it’s held together—even the things that seem to be
working against him.
We often judge progress by results we can measure. God works on a different
timeline. He finishes what he starts, but he does it in his own way. His Word is
always doing something—planting, growing, softening, redirecting—whether or
not we can see immediate change.
That means nothing you offer him is wasted—not your prayers, not your
faithfulness, not the moments where you chose to stop trying to control the
outcome. God is constantly at work behind the scenes, shaping things in ways you
can’t yet see.
Practice: Read Isaiah 55:11 slowly, more than once. As you do, think about one
situation where you feel stuck, discouraged, or tempted to give up. Name it
honestly before God and ask him to give you faith to trust his plans.
